The Act on Alcohol Program is an initiative of Lives Lived Well and has been funded by Queensland Health from mid 2014 to mid 2017. Our funding from Queensland Health is finishing at the end of this month and unfortunately will not be renewed.
Over the years, we have had a number of staff members within the Act on Alcohol Team, they include – Sharon, Shane, Kelly, Loral, Caroline, Joe, Carly and Dale. Therefore on behalf of the Act on Alcohol Team (past and present) I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported us over the years. We have enjoyed working with you and your community to reduce the harmful use of alcohol. Over the past three years we have learnt a great deal and would like to say thank you for being part of our Act on Alcohol community.
We hope we have been of assistance to our blog readers, website visitors, Facebook followers and e-newsletter subscribers. Our Act on Alcohol website will remain online for the time being, as will our Time to Talk website, please continue to use the resources.
Lives Lived Well will continue to work in the drug and alcohol treatment space (if you need help click here) and will continue to gain more funding to prevent and minimise harm from alcohol and drug use.
For now, Act on Alcohol says goodbye…
